The station must be operated by a person who is the holder of a Restricted Radio Operator's Certificate of Proficiency or a certificate deemed to be of an equivalent or higher standard.
The safety service provided by this station must be available to all users on a nil-fee-for-service basis. The station must maintain a listening watch and be operational on 27.88 MHz and be operational on 27.86 MHz. No interference shall be caused to any Radiocommunication station or service and no protection from interference by such stations or services shall be afforded. |
